The Government of Punjab vide ordinance No.16-Leg./2020 has repealed The Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) (Goa Amendment) Ordinance, 2020 with ordinary legislation to be known as the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) (Punjab Amendment) Act, 2020. As per the notification, the existing applicability of the act for the establishments employing twenty or more workmen has been increased to fifty or more workmen.
